Gambia river

Our location is at the end of Gambia river, amongst huge virgin forests of mangroves in a natural area of high environmental value and biodiversity. We also have the benefit of our own private quay.

Products

Our main products are whole round and clean cuttlefish, octopus vulgaris, loligo squids, groupers, croakers, ribbon fish, Guinean sole, Tonguesole, Southern pink shrimp (Senagalese sticky prawn), Tiger prawn, and blue swimming crabs. Our processing capacity exceeds 3000 tons/year.

Octopus

Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), caught by local small boats in the Tanji area, day catch, collected by our own refrigerated trucks and immediately taken to our factory only a few minutes away from the beaches. We process them IWP and block

Cuttelfish & Squid

The cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis) just arrived from the boat is packed in small blocks of aprox 3 kg (sizes -100, 100/300, 300/600 gr) and 10 kg blocks (size 600/1000 and 1000+), the squid (Loligo vulgaris) is presented IWP in 10 kg boxes. Both in quality suitable for defrosting. Clean cuttlefish and squid are eviscerated, washed in detail, removing all their skin, excess cartilage, grills, cleaning their beaks and eyes. We do NOT use any type of fattening or whitening, nor do we add glazes. We make them in block and IQF in boxes of approx 10 kg.

Seafood

We also process day catch shrimps ‘white’ (notialis), tiger and giant seatigers, in head on, headed forms and peeled, we pack them in 2 and 1 kg, nett weights, no glace whatsoever.

Fishes

We process a wide range of local fishes, ribbon fish, grouper, croaker, tiger soles, lengua, whole round, HGT or like for the soles fully skinned, we use NO any chemicals or add any glace to our products.
